Head of Operations, Faye Hancock, will be setting off with Bess the Office Labrador to walk the entire length of the Ridgeway next week. Following a route used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers, the 87 mile long Ridgeway passes through ancient landscapes, downland, secluded valleys and woodland. Bess and Faye have been training hard all winter, and are both nervous and excited to head off from Overton Hill in Wiltshire, with the aim of reaching Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire 5 days later.

Faye is a volunteer for the Abingdon Group Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), and any donations towards the group to cheer them on their way would be much appreciated. Visit the Abingdon Group RDA JustGiving page:

Please keep your fingers crossed for dry weather. Good luck Faye and Bess!
